Can Scalp Micropigmentation be removed?
Here at Ultimate Scalp Micropigmentation Leicester, I am often contacted by clients who have had bad Scalp SMP treatments performed elsewhere, by unqualified Scalp Practitioners!
The most common scalp micropigmentation issues that we are asked to rectify include:-
- Over dense scalp impressions (dots too close together)
- The incorrect shade of pigment has previously been used (too dark)
- Clinics or regular tattoo artists who use regular tattoo ink and not Scalp Pigmentation specific ink, regular tattoo ink turns blue over time under the scalp! Be warned. Stay away from Scalp SMP technicians or tattoo artists that use regular tattoo ink at all costs! The technique and pigments differ!
- Pigment blowouts are also a major sign of inexperienced Scalp SMP practice!
- A “blow out” is when the micro needles have entered the skin too deep, when the ink enters the skin at the incorrect depth, it can hit the fatty tissue under the scalp and “blow out”, expanding under the surface of the skin. This will merge and spread creating a blotchy mess under the scalp! We never go too deep here at Ultimate Scalp Micropigmentation and we always use the correct SMP specific inks!
- The only option if you have experienced bad Scalp Micropigmentation, is Laser Tattoo Removal.
- NOTE – I am a fully qualified, trained and insured Laser Tattoo Removal Technician as well as Scalp Micropigmentation Technician. Scalp SMP Tattoo Laser Removal and your new Scalp SMP treatment can be completed all under one roof at our Private and discreet Lutterworth clinic in South Leicestershire.
How does a laser remove Scalp Micropigmentation?
Within our private inhouse Lutterworth clinic, we are also qualified and insured Laser Tattoo Removal Technicians. Offering Nd:yag passive laser technology. I can remove any bad Scalp SMP treatments that you have previously had done at other less experienced clinics.
Using a 1064 wavelength laser handpiece, we can work with you to fix any previous scalp SMP, remove your existing scalp tattoo and once faded/removed, we can then correctly complete your fresh Scalp Micropigmentation!
The 1064 wavelength laser targets the ink pigment beneath the skin and using photomechanical energy, it smashes the ink into tiny fragments. These smaller ink fragments are then passed through your immune system. They are then carried away by phagocytes in your white blood cells.
Less is more when it comes to realistic Scalp Micropigmentation, to avoid looking like this, call or contact today! (note – this image is for illustration only and is not an SMP client)
